Lethbridge Family Services - Angel TreeWe’re proud to support the Angel Tree Christmas Campaign by Lethbridge Family Services. Each year, this program helps ensure that every child in our community experiences the joy of the holiday season.
Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, Angel Tree provides new, unwrapped toys, books, and gifts to children who might otherwise go without during the holidays. The program reaches thousands of children across Lethbridge and the surrounding area, spreading kindness, hope, and connection at a time when it’s needed most. The Woodcreek Virtual Lions Club is honoured to contribute to this heartwarming initiative and help make the holidays brighter for local families. |

Lethbridge Food bank - mindful MunchiesWe’re proud to support Mindful Munchies, a school lunch program by the Lethbridge Food Bank that ensures children have access to healthy, balanced meals throughout the school year.
Since 2017, Mindful Munchies has provided nutritious lunches that include a protein sandwich, fresh fruit, and yogurt or cheese, helping students stay energized, focused, and ready to learn. What began with 600 lunches a week has now grown to more than 1,700 lunches weekly, supporting thousands of children across the Lethbridge School Division. By sponsoring this vital program, the Woodcreek Virtual Lions Club helps promote equity, inclusivity, and wellbeing in local schools. We’re honored to play a small part in helping children reach their full potential. |
Strathmore Performing Arts FestivalWe were proud to support the 2025 Strathmore Performing Arts Festival as the presenting donor for the Woodcreek Lions Club Showcase Concert & Awards Night.
The Strathmore Performing Arts Festival is a non-competitive celebration of music and performance, providing young artists from across the region a chance to share their talents in a positive, inclusive environment. With performance categories ranging from voice and musical theatre to concert band, piano, and instrumental ensembles, the festival helps foster creativity and confidence in youth. The Showcase Concert & Awards Night was a wonderful culmination of the festival! Highlighting outstanding performances and recognizing the dedication of students, teachers, and families. We are honored to encourage the arts in our community and help support the next generation of performers. |

Strathmore High School Lions Heart AwardThe Woodcreek Lions Club was proud to sponsor the inaugural Lion Heart Award at Strathmore High School, created to honor students who exemplify compassion, kindness, and a true spirit of service to others.
This year’s recipient, Ainsley Pouwer, was recognized with the Lion Heart Award for her strength, courage, and generosity of spirit. She represents the unsung heroes who lead not with a loud voice, but with a generous heart. Ainsley is deeply engaged in service, leadership, and community, standing as a defender and protector of others. Supporting students like Ainsley reflects our commitment to fostering leadership, community spirit, and service in the next generation. The A Lion’s Heart Scholarship will continue to recognize students who embody the values of Lionism and inspire others through their actions. |
