We are so excited to recognize Andraya Johnson as the inaugural recipient of The Isabella Loveday Scholarship for Authenticity.
Andraya was selected because her songwriting reflects a deep sense of honesty, vulnerability, and individuality that truly moved the selection committee. Through her song To the Mountains, she shared a thoughtful and personal perspective on finding peace and connection in a world that can often feel overwhelming. Her ability to openly express complex emotions through music demonstrates remarkable courage and creativity. Her song resonated deeply with the selection committee, as Bella herself found so much joy, peace, and connection in the mountains. We believe the authenticity and heart behind Andraya’s work beautifully reflects the spirit of this scholarship. |

We are proud to recognize Allie Drover as the recipient of the Second Annual Lions Heart Scholarship.

Ella’s commitment to service is reflected not only in the many hours she has dedicated to her community, but also in the wide variety of ways she chooses to give back. From supporting library programs and community events to mentoring younger students and helping with children’s activities, she consistently looks for meaningful opportunities to make a difference. Her kindness, initiative, and genuine passion for helping others stood out strongly to the selection committee. The Lion's Heart Scholarship – $1,000

This scholarship honours a student who truly embodies the spirit of a Lion. Recipients demonstrate integrity, kindness, and a sincere desire to give to others. Whether through small acts of compassion or steady dedication to those around them, this student shows that leadership begins with heart. Students may apply on their own, or be nominated by a teacher or peer who recognizes their generosity and character.

The Isabella Loveday Scholarship for Authenticity – $1,000
|
Named in memory of Isabella Loveday, this scholarship celebrates a student who leads with honesty, courage, and authenticity. Candidates live true to their values and inspire others by being genuine and kind. This award recognizes the power of being yourself and the positive influence that authenticity can have on those around you.
Students must apply on their own by submitting their creative work and written reflection.

The Woodcreek Lion’s Outstanding Volunteer Scholarship – $1,000
|
This scholarship recognizes a student who goes above and beyond in community volunteerism. Whether you dedicate time to local projects, help organize events, or give your energy to causes that matter, your commitment to serving others makes a real impact. The Woodcreek Lions are proud to celebrate those who strengthen our communities through generosity and action.
Students must apply on their own by sharing their volunteer experiences and how they’ve made a difference in their community.
