A Home Away From Home
|
Living with a host family is a central part of the Woodcreek Lions Mountain Adventure Camp experience. Host families open their homes and hearts to welcome campers as part of the family, creating memories that last long after the summer ends.
You might spend a day riding horses through the foothills, exploring the Calgary Zoo, or visiting Drumheller’s Royal Tyrrell Museum to stand beneath towering dinosaur skeletons. Some families enjoy lazy lake days, backyard barbecues, or birthday celebrations under the stars. Others host international dinners where everyone shares dishes from their home countries and learns about new cultures. Every family is unique, and every camper’s experience is one of a kind, filled with laughter, discovery, and connection. This is where lifelong friendships begin and where cultural exchange becomes a personal journey you will never forget. |
